Sarah explains why she has been coming to Orchard Dental for over 15 years
Mark discusses his minimally invasive approach to dentistry
We believe that to achieve the best long term outcome it is important to develop a relationship of trust between patient and dentist, and that’s why we take our new patient examinations extremely seriously.
In order that we allocate the appropriate time and resources to assessing your dental needs and getting to know you, we ask new patients to pay a £40 deposit when booking their examination.
We use an advanced 3D scanner to diagnose any problems and plan accurate treatments across a range of dental disciplines. We also accept referrals from dentists across the South East who require 3D scanning for their patients, or want us to support them by carrying out advanced dentistry on their behalf. Dentists wishing to refer can use our referral form.
It is important that you understand the varied clinical and cosmetic reasons why a particular treatment – or set of treatments – may or may not work for you. When we are discussing treatment options with you, we aim to put ourselves in your position. As such, we are committed to taking the time and space needed to fully explain the procedures and agree a plan.
It is important to note that for a long lasting healthy smile there is no one-size-fits-all solution. We will recommend a course of action based on your individual clinical and cosmetic needs. This may mean some restorative work to clean or rebuild your natural teeth or cosmetic treatments to straighten or replace missing teeth.
We may suggest a combination of the two. What is essential to us is that we ensure you have optimum oral health going forward and a smile that you can enjoy.
For the best long term outcomes we do strongly encourage patients to look towards an ongoing relationship with us. We firmly believe in preventative dentistry, that is to say stopping any problems before they arise.
Our expertise and skill certainly mean we can fix pressing issues and set you on the right path to optimum oral health but a regular check up means we can monitor and prevent any further problems, as well as screen regularly for oral cancer and gum disease. This way you can avoid unnecessary and costly work in the future.
Whatever the treatments you need we have the skill and expertise to perform them right here in the practice, so we can offer continuity of care as you move along your journey to your perfect smile.
